I have an unusual corrosion problem at my house in College Station. House is 10 years old, problems consistent over the life of the structure Symptoms are these: Air conditioning coils corrode and leak, replaced 4 times in 10 years Heavy galvanized condensation pans rust through Light fixture bases on back porch corrode heavily Stainless steel golf clubs rust in garage Stainless steel bicycle spokes rust to failure in garage Other minor problems No standing water or other moisture problems. Any ideas on what to check or a procedure or protocol to find out what is happening. I am a civil engineer and have a basic understanding of corrosion issues. Thanks, JM

Jeff: I not sure that I see a common thread. However, you should check for airborne chlorides. Also, you might consider having your brick mortor checked for calcium chlorides that may have been added to speed cure in cold weather. David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
