6000 liter/hour liquid proteins are transported through a pipe at a temperature of 70-80C. 750 gram/hour NaHSO3 in a composition of 20% NaHSO3 and 80% water is added to these proteins. This liquid suspension is transported to an evaporator where the liquid suspension partially is evaporated to an amount of 1250 liters/hour at a temperature of 55-60C. De suspension is at that moment 40% proteins and 60% water. The evaporator is made of 316L. Can we expect problems with this evaporator?
