Does anybody experienced with rust converter/stabiliser paints?Do they approved by NACE or SPPC?what are the main difference between normal protective coatings?Are they very reliable? Appreciate the comments. Thanks.

Rahimi: Rust converter paints and coatings are used when proper surface preparation can't be achieved or someone doesn't want to go to the expense or the trouble. They have their purpose but will not be as corrosion resistant or last as long as paints that require proper (near white) surface prep. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
