We make water cooled power generators. I have a product that uses 904L SS hose barbs to connect hoses and they exhibit severe corrosion. the water flowing thru the system has a measured current of 10mA, due to a voltage potential of 9000V and water conductivity of 500 microsiemens. I am trying to use a sacraficial anode and cathode collector to move the corrosion away from the barbs. Currently I am using brass fittings for this and see what appears to be dezincification. I need to design a system that will last one year and I am not sure how to quantify the corrosion, what materials are best for this type of protection. Any help is appreciated.
