Generally , SS 304/304L is assumed to be corrosion resistant material but when we come to Piping Specs with SS 304/304L MOC , value of corrosion allowance is taken as 0.063 in . Same as for SS316/316L . Pl. expain the discrepancy Thanks

corrosion allowance is not used on stainless steel materials.. it seems very strange that in a piping class for SS is foreseen a CA.
