Good day to all of you. I would like to know that is the chemical compositon of API 5L pipes complying with NACE MR0175. Especially the Carbon Equivalent content, Carbon content, Sulphur content and Phosphorus content. I have gone through the NACE docuement and could not find any particular clause giving exact chemcial composition required. There are many company who make NACE MR0175 pipes but most of them comply only to the Hardness clause i.e. 22 HRC. Aprreicate your replies.

Thanks for your reply. But i just wanted to confirm that pipes with NACE MR0175 do not have to meet any special chemical composition requirement. Is not the Sulphur and Phosphorus content too high as per API 5L Specs. Nace pipes are generally used for Sour Service and hence does not NACE MR0175 ask for reduced Sulphur & Phosphorus content. Thanks once again
